Timmie Chandler
Timmie Chandler has been a Bainbridge resident since 1978 when she moved her family from rural Pennsylvania so she could raise her daughter on Puget Sound, 'where the mountains meet the sea.' Her family spent 20 years snow-birding to the Big Island of Hawaii during the winter months. Upon becoming empty nesters, she and her husband, Rick, sold their Hawaiian cottage and began traveling to Europe. Among their favorite places are Paris (mais, oui!), Brittany, Wales, Tuscany, and the canals of Great Britain, which they have navigated on narrow boats.
Timmie started working at The Traveler in September 2010. She's happy to share a tip or two about the places she's traveled and the places she's lived. She writes, photographs, and letterboxes during her travels. www.letterboxing.org
